Animation activities

• Tournament of Towns.   The Tournament of Towns is a high level international mathematical competition for school students. I organized it in Paris for the first time in 1998/99. An organizing committee, with myself as its president, was created in 2002.

• Animath.   Animath is an association that organizes numerous mathematical activities for the interested school students. Since 1999 I have been participating in the animation of junior mathematical workshops, in a mathematical school by correspondence, in coaching the participants and preparing the problems for the International Mathematical Olympiad.

• February-March 2000:    Exchange with the Moscow Independent University, Russia (1 month).

• June 2001:    Arbeitstagung at Max Planck Institute, Bonn, Germany (2 weeks).
